So, who the hell am I to think my ideas are so important anyway?

No idea how to introduce this. I suppose my name is Dan and I am fairly privileged, vegan socialist from Scotland. I started this project to hold myself accountable for my plan to make a difference in the world, to slay the demon of procrastination for once and for all. I also wanted somewhere to provide a friendly, chilled out intro to some of the ideas which I am passionate about. This blog is for everyone really, but especially people who want to know more about left-wing ideas and I hope to use my studies in psychology, sociology and (limited) life experience to counter the rise in right-wing talking points and confused centrism we are seeing in Scotland and the UK as a whole.
So have you been thinking to yourself, what I really need to fill the void within my soul, to counter the nothingness of modern life, is a leftist blog that throws shade on the reactionary right like an overzealous surprise party host rains down the confetti? (this simile is especially apt is you know I am going to have to have a lot of cleaning up to do tomorrow) then gosh do I have a treat for you.
